Grassroots Growth: Empowering Youth Ultimate Programs Nationwide
Funded by the u003ca href=u0022https://theultimatefoundation.org/u0022u003eUltimate Foundationu003c/au003e, the Youth Growth Grant program provides financial assistance to local disc organizations with a goal of increasing participation, reducing barriers of entry into the sport, and supporting inclusivity. Grants may be used to implement solutions aimed at overcoming hurdles that limit youth growth, including the development of new playing opportunities, creating new teams, providing educational support or financial aid, or other initiatives that develop sustainable growth.rnrnUSA Ultimate accepts applications for Youth Growth Grants twice per year, awarding several grants in each application phase (spring/summer u0026amp; fall/winter). Grants vary in amount ranging between $500 and $5,000 and are seen as an investment in local ultimate communities.rnrnAs part of the application process, local disc organizations will describe the opportunity, their plans to create and implement a sustainable initiative, and the support they need to execute and deliver on their plan. And because each community is different and faces its own, unique set of challenges, individual organizations are given the ability to create a solution that fits their specific needs.
