Colorado Springs, Colo. (October 3, 2024)—USA Ultimate announced today the 212 athletes who were invited to participate in tryouts for the U.S. National Team that will represent the United States at the 2025 WFDF World U-24 Championships next summer in Logroño, Spain.
Following an initial application process that saw nearly 600 players express interest, Team USA coaching staff pared the pool down to a final list of invitees that will attend one of two tryouts next month.
Following tryouts, coaches will select a final roster of 72 players – three teams of 24 that will compete in the mixed, open and women’s divisions.
Next month’s tryouts mark the first step towards defending gold medals in each of the three divisions as Team USA swept the top step of the podium last year in the U.K.
